A national home for the fighters who wear a badge.
The United Combat Association is the sanctioning body for public-safety combat sports — the officers, firefighters, and medics who step into the ring to raise money, honor their communities, and settle it the old-fashioned way.
The United Combat Association is a ranking, sanctioning and promotional organization solely for Public Safety boxing. UCA unites Peace Officers, Firefighters, and Military Personnel in a competitive sportsmanship boxing competition with the boxer's safety being the top priority.
Our focus is to increase participation and build camaraderie and solidarity among the diverse agencies, organizations, and departments that serve our communities. UCA's goal is to spread public safety boxing worldwide and give aspiring Public Safety boxers — who put their lives on the line every day — the chance to make a name for themselves by publicly recognizing their talent in the ring.
UCA is dedicated to bringing boxing fans the highest level of Public Safety boxing year-round. Our commitment is to discover incredible new talent from all agencies — male and female, in all weight classes. Once the top-rated boxers are established they are given the opportunity to compete for the most prestigious award in Public Safety boxing: the UCA Championship Title Belt.
Founded in 2009, UCA has partnered with worthwhile charities including the Firefighters Burn Institute, Sacramento Sheriff's Toy Project, Fallen Officers Resource Fund, Widows and Orphans, Fallen Warriors Memorial Organization, Chicano Correctional Workers Association, Richmond PAL, Richmond / Hanford / Avenal Police Explorers, USA Boxing, AMR, Cops 4 Kids & Communities, MS Race to Erase MS, Hanford PAL, and the Correctional Peace Officers Foundation.
